Milky Way

Milky Way is...one of my favorite chocolates. BUT, i will not tell further on that, rather, the Milky Way which is a broad luminous irregular band of light that stretches completely around the celestial sphere and is caused by the light of myriads of faint star, or our very own galaxy.

July 22, 2011, Friday ~ we had our school activity made possible by the Science Club, SkyXplore and more, the so called Astronomy Day. There were four activities in that one event. We have: (1) the Film Showing - all about the invention of technologies which are used in studying the space, the inventors and their history; (2) the Exhibit - the Milky way, some astronauts and some vehicles used for traveling in the outer space were talked about here, and meteorites were identified and they even let us touch some, as well; (3) the Space Dome - that was postponed because of the unexpected bad weather condition, but we were still able to manage doing this said activity all thanks to some of the students who helped in cleaning the gym, - they taught us here in the dome the rising and setting of the sun, other star constellations and some planets seen at night; and last (4) the Star Gazing - which unfortunately, was not able to be conducted at the field because of the cloudy sky that blocks the stars for us to see.

But it's okay. There's always a next time for us to view stars using real telescopes, I wish.

Me, Mavi and Erika
During the whole mini tour in our campus, I was with Erika. It was the time we spend a - field trip - like occasion together again, after three years since our elementary life. I missed those days so I just went with the flow. We'd even make Mavi to join us as well. And also with some of the 3-Fluorine and 3-Carbon, especially during the exhibit and our stand by in the gym, where we took pictures and talked to some of the seminarians.

All of them were amazing! And even though we all went home late at that Friday night, I still had a lot of fun.:)
